The national day of mourning is observed every year on the 28th of April.  Dedicated to those workers that lost their lives, have been injured or suffered illness due to work.

At work, we will fly the flag at half mast, gather around it and lay down a wreath.  In a moment of silence we mourn and honor these souls as we remember them.  We think of the families, friends and co-workers of the lost and injured that are left behind that carry the burden of grief.

This day also reminds us, of the importance to collectively make and keep our workplace a safer healthier place to protect the living, our co-workers and friends;
